Kim Hill, BA, BSW, RSW
I am passionate about supporting families who are experiencing a health crisis or concern. When my own family encountered a health crisis I recognized the resources necessary to help navigate the healthcare system and coordinate the care for my loved one. At that moment I promised myself that I would use the skills I have developed professionally to support the families in my community that are experiencing similar circumstances. Partner in Care is a reflection of this commitment.
For the past two decades, while working in the mental health services field, I have provided supportive care to vulnerable families in our community. Through this work, I have learned the value of having supports in place to assist families while having someone to walk with them through difficult times. I have developed my skills as a Social Worker by providing case management, referrals, advocacy, and support to hundreds of families in our community.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to professional development. This has led to training in the area of mental health care as well as the completion of an undergraduate degree (BA) and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) distinguished with honors from the University of Waterloo. I recently completed my Masters of Social Work (MSW) through the University of Toronto. I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
